Other than her family, on whom she doted, Paula's other great love was her times spent with her friends in the Red Hat Society. Paula looked great in her red hats and purple outfits, but more than that, she loved her red hat ladies. These friends were an important part of Paula's social circle. I appreciated them, not only for the joy that they brought Paula, but also because it made my life so much easier at gift giving times - a red hat here, a serving platter with an image of red hat lady there. Life was good.
