Ambient music tends to not call attention to itself. Rather it flows around and fits into the background like other ambient events - the wind, surf, windchimes, or bird songs are excellent examples. There is no toe tapping (rhythm entrainment) and no mental tension (anticipation response) to command the attention.
This genre-hopping project is not your typical corporate "alternative" fair: Tommy Cotter and John Standridge play a wide variety of instruments and sound like a larger band thanks to multitracking.
